Blackpink’s Jisoo will release a new solo single, titled Click, on Sept 4, her agency Blissoo said today (Aug 25).
This will be her first new music since Eyes Closed (featuring Zayn), which was released in October 2025.
The track serves as a pre-release for an upcoming album. The album’s release date has yet to be set.
“The new song won’t feature another artiste this time, and it’s part of her first full-length solo album, which will include several other songs,” the source said on Aug 24. “Joseph Kahn directed the music video for the new single, which was shot in Bangkok.”
The shoot took place in a north-eastern district of Bangkok, though the specific location has not been disclosed.
Kahn, a Grammy-winning music video director, has worked with pop stars including Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga and Eminem.
Jisoo is the last Blackpink member to release a full-length solo album since the four members parted ways with YG Entertainment in December 2023 to pursue individual activities.
While Lisa, Jennie and Rose have since released solo LPs under their respective labels, Jisoo has focused largely on acting alongside her music career, releasing the four-track EP Amortage in February 2025.
Her release will come less than a week after fellow Blackpink member Jennie releases her new physical EP, Fallen Angel, on Aug 28.
Jennie’s six-track EP will include the title track Fallen Angel, along with Less Than A Lover, Sweettooth, Lockitdown, Face and Heaven. - The Korea Herald/ANN
