UKRAINIAN model Tatiana Lin refused to help with Chinese New Year cooking when she visits her husband’s home in Malaysia, saying that she was “not a foreign worker”, China Press reported.
The 27-year-old is married to Malaysian actor Hero Tai and visits his Parit Buntar, Perak home every year for Chinese New Year.
When Tai’s female relatives asked if Lin would like to help in the kitchen, she said no.

“I am not a foreign worker. Why do I need to help,” she reportedly said.
Her response caused an awkward scene at home.
Tai reportedly tried to lower the tension by apologising and citing cultural differences.
Speaking during a Taiwanese talk show, Lin admitted that she was a person who speaks her mind and that couples should be direct when communicating with each other, including on their responsibilities.
Tai and Lin registered their marriage in Malaysia in September 2023. They now have two children together.
