Selangor Ruler and Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor express their New Year greetings to all


PETALING JAYA: Selangor Ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah and Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin extended their new year wishes to the people of the state and Malaysians in general.

They both hoped 2024 would be filled with more excellence and success in the lives of all people, in all aspects, especially economically.

"His Royal Highness wants all parties, regardless of political affiliation, to mobilise their energy and focus on efforts in ensuring the well-being and survival of the people.

"The Sultan of Selangor also hopes those celebrating this new year with new resolutions and goals that not only benefit themselves but also the country, towards strengthening peace and prosperity," he said in a statement.

Hopefully 2024 would be a better year for all the people of multiple races and religions in Malaysia, the Sultan of Selangor added.
