More than 9.8 million vehicles on the road during Christmas season


KUALA LUMPUR: More than 9.8 million vehicles were on major highways and expressways during a five-day period over the Christmas holiday season, says Comm Datuk Mohd Azman Ahmad Sapri.

The Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department director said the high volume of traffic began on Friday (Dec 22) and lasted until Tuesday (Dec 26), including the two toll-free days announced by the government.
