ACTRESS Puteri Sarah Liyana told wives affected by polygamy to always do what’s best for themselves and their children, and not for anyone else.

“Make the best decision for yourself and your children without causing hurt to others,” she said in an Instagram post on Monday, Kosmo! reported.

Puteri Sarah, 38, was recently divorced from director Syamsul Yusof after he took a second wife, actress Ira Kazar.

“I am happy with my decision and stand firmly by it. Don’t let others make life’s decisions for you. We determine our own happiness,” added Puteri Sarah, a mother of two.

Social media users believe her post was addressing a viral issue about another celebrity involved in polygamy.

Social media influencer Alif Teega admitted that he had secretly taken a second wife while his first wife, Aisyah Hijanah, asked people not to badmouth her husband.

> Fans of local 1990s animated series Keluang Man say actor Nas-T, who will be playing the lead in the movie version, is too serious and muscular for the role, Berita Harian reported.

They said Keluang Man, whose real name is Borhan, has a thin and slender physique and a humorous character, unlike Nas-T.

However, director Anwari Ashraf said he was confident in casting Nas-T, whose real name is Nas Muammar Zar Nasruddin, after 300 open auditions were held for the role.

“I know some are sceptical with Nas-T as the lead, and I myself had felt the same way when I watched his audition video.

“But after going through all the auditions, we felt that Nas-T resembles Borhan and Keluang Man the most,” he said when announcing the film’s cast recently.

Anwari added that he did not choose a comedian for the role because Keluang Man is not just about comedy.
