Pandemic-fuelled project delays drove up costs, Parliament told

PROJECT delays by the Covid-19 pandemic were among the factors causing an increase in the costs of road upgrade work, says Deputy Works Minister Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Mohamad.

He said based on several studies, the ministry found that the cost increase was mainly due to the pandemic that had halted several projects for over one and a half years.
