State polls: PM Anwar and Wan Azizah cast ballots in Permatang Pasir


PERMATANG PASIR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and his wife Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail have cast their votes for this state seat at SK Seri Penanti here on Saturday (Aug 12).

They arrived at the voting centre at 9.30am.

Pakatan Harapan's Muhammad Faiz Fadzil of Amanah is defending the seat against Amir Hamzah Abdul Hashim of Perikatan Nasional.

He won it in 2018 with a 2,981-vote majority against Muhammad Fauzi Yusof of PAS and Anuar Faisal Yahaya of Barisan Nasional.
