KOTA KINABALU: Customs personnel here thwarted an attempt by a syndicate to smuggle in syabu worth some RM3.36mil into Sabah by disguising the substance as washing detergent.
The syndicate had placed over 100kg of the drugs into plastic packets of "Anchor" fabric washer and shipped them in a container from Port Klang to the state’s Sepanggar Port.
