Straight fights in Batang Kali, Hulu Selangor but four-corner in Kuala Kubu Baharu


PETALING JAYA: There will be straight fights in Batang Kali and Hulu Bernam in the upcoming state polls, while Kuala Kubu Baharu will see a four-cornered fight.

For Batang Kali, Datuk Mohd Isa Abu Kasim from Umno will go against Muhamad Muhaimin Harith Abdullah Sani from Bersatu.

Mohd Isa, 58, who is from Kampung Melayu Tambahan in Rasa, Hulu Selangor was the former Batang Kali assemblyman from 2008 to 2013.

Business Administration consultant Muhamad Muhaimi was a councillor with the Hulu Selangor District Council from 2016 to 2019.

For Kuala Kubu Baharu, the four cornered fight is between Henry Teoh from Gerakan, Chng Boon Lai (PRM), Lee Kee Hiong (Pakatan-DAP) and Siva Prakash (Muda).

Lee has served for two terms from 2013 as the incumbent Kuala Kubu Baharu assemblyman.
