State polls: Jelebu MCA show support for BN's Pertang candidate

PETALING JAYA: Jelebu MCA division members were at the nomination centre in the Pertang constituency in Negri Sembilan to show their support for Barisan Nasional candidate Datuk Seri Jalaluddin Alias.

MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong said he met with Jelebu MCA division members who earlier accompanied Jalaluddin to the nomination centre.

"He is a good friend and has been the Jelebu MP since 2018. He was also a Negri Sembilan exco member and deputy Federal Territories minister. Jalal is an outspoken elected representative," Dr Wee said in a Facebook post on Saturday (July 29).

Dr Wee added he was briefed by Jelebu MCA division chairman Roger Seet and Negri MCA Youth chief Siow Kong Choon on how the party's election machinery would assist Barisan candidates in Jelebu.
