Higher Indian enrolment for TVET programmes, assures Anwar

BUTTERWORTH: The government will increase the entry of Indian students in technical and vocational education and training (TVET) programmes in an effort to alleviate poverty among the community, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The Prime Minister said he was informed of this by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi as chairman of the National TVET Council, which he added is currently working on the matter.
