State polls: 1,000 cops from Bukit Aman to beef up Negri contingent


SEREMBAN: Some 1,000 police officers and personnel from Bukit Aman will be sent to help their colleagues in Negri Sembilan during the state election, says Deputy Comm Datuk Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yussof.

The Negri Sembilan police chief said they will be sent in phases to assist the 4,400-strong force in the state to maintain law and order during the election period.
