Update Sabah Labour Ordinance now to better protect workers, say civil society groups

KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Labour Ordinance (SLO) needs to be updated without delay to give proper and more comprehensive protection to workers in the state, say local civil society groups.

In making this call, they said there had been talk of amending the SLO for years with no concrete steps taken so far.
