TWO college students who walked through a crowded train with a machete, threatening passengers in an apparent stunt, have been arrested by Tamil Nadu police, Malaysia Nanban reported.

Passengers on their morning commute from Arakkonam town into the central station of Chennai were shocked to see a group of about 10 students boarding the train, some of them carrying knives.

Soon, the entire group began walking through the train coach, smoking and shouting that they were students from a well-known local college and that nobody should dare mess with them.

However, some of the passengers were amused as such a display of “bravado” was reminiscent of Tamil movie scenes.

The videos, which were shared online, quickly went viral. This attracted the attention of the police, which led to the arrest of two men aged 20.
