Cops: Nothing mystical about boy’s joyride in Langkawi

ALOR SETAR: Police have dismissed claims of a “mystical element” in the incident involving a six-year-old boy who sneaked out in the family car before his 1.6km-long joyride ended in an accident along Jalan Bukit Tangga near Langkawi town.

Langkawi district police chief Asst Comm Shariman Ashari said investigations showed that the child knew enough about the gas pedal and changing gears to have driven the car.
