PETALING JAYA: Any renovation to convert existing homes to fit more occupants must first undergo due approval process, says the Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM).
Nordin Pauzi, the Senior Assistant Fire Commissioner for the Fire Safety Division, said this included submitting an application to the local authorities to ensure it met their requirements.
