MRSM KK renamed in honour of former Sabah CM Musa Aman, says Zahid

KOTA KINABALU: Maktab Rendah Sains Mara (MRSM) Kota Kinabalu has been renamed after former chief minister Tan Sri Musa Aman.

The institution will now be known as MRSM Tan Sri Musa Aman Kota Kinabalu with immediate effect, says Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

He said this was a form of recognition for former leaders in Sabah.

Two other MRSMs here will also be renamed after former state leaders, he said during a working visit and Hari Raya celebrations at MRSM Kota Kinabalu here, Thursday (May 4).

Zahid said the people of today would not be here if not for those in the past.

“The same goes for the leaders of today, as they would not be here if not for the works and contributions of past leaders,” he said.

“We should not forget the contributions of past leaders,” he stressed.

Musa is Sabah's longest-serving CM from 2003 to 2018.
