Melaka to hold meeting over bikini issue on Pulau Besar

MELAKA: “No Bikini” signs will only be put up along the beachfront of Pulau Besar after an in-depth discussion with stakeholders, says the Melaka Historic City Council.

Mayor Datuk Zainal Abu said the council needed to get an insight into the requirements and would hold a discussion with the relevant departments, including state religious authorities, on the move to put up signboards reminding tourists to wear proper attire on the island.
