LENGGONG: Non-governmental groups have been urged to get more information from the Home Ministry for a better understanding of the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act (Sosma).
Deputy Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Shamsul Anuar Nasarah said some quarters might not have been given the correct information about the Act.

On Thursday (Dec 15), Muda vice-president Zaidel Baharudin claimed that Sosma, when compared to the defunct Internal Security Act 1967 (ISA), was more progressive in principle but remained "very one-sided".
