SEREMBAN: The three Pakatan Harapan state governments are likely to complete their full term dissolve their respective assemblies simultaneously, says Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun.

The PKR vice-president said the Selangor, Penang and Negri Sembilan government leaders agreed to this in a recent meeting.

"We have not decided when (to dissolve) exactly, but we are likely to complete the mandate given to us, (which is the middle of next year)," he told reporters.

Aminuddin, who is Negri Sembilan Mentri Besar, said holding a state election just after the national polls would surely upset the people.

He also advised state government employees to continue focusing on their work.

Aminuddin, who won the Port Dickson parliamentary seat in GE15, said he was also looking forward to serving his constituents, as well as those in Sikamat, where he is serving his third term.

Asked if he plans to defend his Sikamat seat, Aminudin said he was prepared to do so.

"I will accept it but if I am not nominated, it is okay. I will leave it to the party leadership to decide," he said.

Asked on Pakatan's defeats in the Tampin and Kuala Pilah parliamentary seats in Negri Sembilan, Aminuddin said a post-mortem would be conducted.

He said the people had made their choice and this had to be respected.

"There were many heavyweights who were defeated or even lost their deposits.

"It only goes to show we cannot take things for granted," he added.
