GE15: Fahmi Fadzil set to retain Lembah Pantai


KUALA LUMPUR: Pakatan Harapan’s Fahmi Fadzil looks set to retain the Lembah Pantai parliamentary seat and become its MP for a second term with a majority of 13,643 votes according to unofficial results.

In second place is Barisan Nasional’s Datuk Ramlan Askolani with 21,410 votes.

PAS candidate Fauzi Abu Bakar, who contested on a Perikatan Nasional ticket, garnered 19,070 votes, while Pejuang’s Dr Noor Asmah Mohd Razali received 804 votes.

The atmosphere at the vote counting centre in the Bukit Bandaraya community centre at Jalan Medang Tanduk was reported to be festive.
