GE15: Wetrom's sacking by Hajiji fortifies goodwill between GRS, Barisan, say observers

KOTA KINABALU: The move to sack Bandau assemblyman Datuk Wetrom Bahanda as a state assistant minister is seen as strengthening the goodwill in negotiations between Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) and Sabah Barisan Nasional.

Political observers said that Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor 's move to remove Wetrom takes away any doubts that there was a political play between GRS and its "friendly" Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Malaysia (KDM).
