PM Ismail Sabri arrives at Perdana Putra ahead of 3pm address

PUTRAJAYA: Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob arrived at the Perdana Putra building here at 1.35pm Monday (Oct 10), ahead of a scheduled 3pm address to the nation.

In a post uploaded to the Prime Minister's official social media channels Monday, the special address will be aired by local television stations such as Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM), Bernama TV, Astro Awani, TV3, TVS and TV Al Hijrah.

It will also be broadcast 'live' on Ismail Sabri's Facebook page.

"At 3 (pm) I will announce,” he said when asked about the content of his special address which has been announced on his social media site.

Asked what is message, Ismail Sabri said: "there is something".

Earlier, Ismail Sabri was scheduled to have several programmes such as attending the 76th Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC) general assembly at Matrade Exhibition and Convention Centre at 2.30 pm Monday.

There is much talk that Parliament will be dissolved, especially after the Prime Minister had an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong on Sunday just before King left for the United Kingdom.

The meeting had raised speculation as it was the Prime Minister's second audience with the King in just four days.

On Thursday, the Prime Minister met the Yang di-Pertuan Agong as per the weekly routine.

Ismail Sabri, who is also Umno vice president, will attend the Umno supreme council meeting at WTC on Monday night. - Bernama
