Car falls into hole dug for underground cable repair in Setiawangsa

KUALA LUMPUR: A car fell into a hole on a road that was dug up to repair some underground cables in Setiawangsa here.

Photos of the incident that went viral on social media show the car lying on its side in the hole.

Wangsa Maju OCPD Supt Ashari Abu Samah said the incident occurred at 7.30am on Wednesday (Spet 28) along Jalan AU3 Setiawangsa.

"A 32-year-old woman crashed her car into a water barrier which fell into an underground cable repair area. The driver and passenger escaped unhurt," he said in a statement.
