PETALING JAYA: Matters including the development of the Batu Berendam Airport were discussed during a working visit to Melaka, Dr Wee Ka Siong says.
The Transport Minister, on his Facebook post on Friday (June 24), said that he held a meeting with Yang Dipertua Negeri Melaka, Tun Mohd Ali Rustam in his office in Seri Melaka.
"The development of the Batu Berendam airport, road safety and the proposal of building a tram system as a mode of public transport in Melaka are among the things discussed," he said.
He added that he would also attend the Associated Chinese Chamber and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM) dinner tonight and its general assembly officiating ceremony on Saturday (June 25).
