King, Queen congratulate Leong for being first Malaysian to win WFEO award


KUALA LUMPUR: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah congratulated Professor Dr Leong Wai Yie for being the first Malaysian to receive an award from the World Federation of Engineering Organisations (WFEO).

Their Majesties expressed their joy and pride over Leong's success in receiving the '2021 WFEO GREE Women in Engineering Award', thus placing Malaysia's name on the world stage.
