THE National Recovery Council (NRC) has proposed that Malaysia reopens borders as early as March 1.

At its meeting on Tuesday, NRC chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin (pic) said the council recommends there is no longer any need for a mandatory quarantine for those entering Malaysia. This would help support the economy by encouraging travel.
