KUALA LUMPUR: The arrival of this year’s Chinese New Year (CNY) was celebrated on a moderate scale nationwide, with strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) to curb the spread of Covid-19.

After muted CNY celebrations for the past two years, the Chinese community took the opportunity to usher in the Year of the Tiger with loved ones and close family members on Tuesday (Feb 1).
