Floods: Denying motion to debate issue in Parliament a ‘serious neglect of responsibility’, says Tok Mat


SEREMBAN: Members of Parliament should have been allowed to debate Saturday’s (Dec 18) floods in Dewan Rakyat on Monday (Dec 20), says Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.

The Umno deputy president said denying the urgent motion in Parliament to debate the most pressing national interest at the most critical moment was “a very insensitive, unparliamentary act and a serious neglect of responsibility”.
