KUCHING: GPS has retained the Beting Maro seat through Razali Gapor (3,769 votes), with PAS’ Arif Paijo (2,058) being his closest rival.
Three other candidates, including PKR’s acting state chairman Abang Zulkifli Abang Engkeh, lost their deposits.
This is the sole seat contested by PAS in the Sarawak election.
