Proposed amendments to Act 342 allow for better control of future pandemics, says Health DG

PETALING JAYA: The proposed amendments to the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act (Act 342) are aimed at allowing better management and control of future pandemic outbreaks in line with changes in technology, says Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

The Health director-general said these include five new provisions and five amendments to Act 342.
