ACTRESS Irma Hasmie said her experience caring for Syrian refugees in Turkey has taught her perseverance, repentance and gratitude, reported Harian Metro.

Irma, who is also one of the Islamic Relief Malaysia Humanitarian icons, said she was very touched to see how the refugees, especially children, survived in the cold weather.
