SHAH ALAM: Selangor residents will now be able to walk into Selcare clinics to get their free Covid-19 vaccination booster doses starting Wednesday (Dec 8), says Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari.
He said some 157,000 Sinovax booster doses have been allocated for the first phase under the Selangor government’s Selvax vaccination programme, and it’s open to those who have completed their first two doses.
“Those aged 18 years and above can visit any of the participating Selcare clinics to get their booster shots. The recipient's booster doses will also be updated in their MySejahtera app,” he said.
“This next stage of the state’s vaccination programme is meant to complement the efforts that the Federal Government is also undertaking,” he added during a press conference on Tuesday (Dec 7).
Amirudin said the list of participating Selcare clinics are available at https://selcareclinic.com/our-clinics as well as in the Selangkah app.
“The Selvax Booster Programme is part of the state’s preparedness against a potential new wave of infections or from the emergence of the Omicron variant of Covid-19,” he said.
