AUTISM was no obstacle to a 25-year-old man who graduated from Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (Usim) with a degree in Quranic Studies and Multimedia, Berita Harian reported.

Ahmad Zahiruddin Zailani was among those who got their scrolls during the 19th convocation ceremony at Usim.

He said the Covid-19 pandemic led to him and his classmates having to do online classes.

“Doing my industrial training at Ummi Maktum Usim, I worked hard and produced more than 40 live streaming videos on the subject of Syariah and Usuluddin,” said Ahmad Zahiruddin who hails from Bangi, Selangor.

His diligence led to him scoring a Cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.2.

As for his immediate plans, he said he wished to further his studies next year.

He has much gratitude for his parents, whom he said had been very supportive of him “because they know I have certain limitations”.

His dream is to become a technology expert so he could help others with special needs.

> Comedian Tauke Jambu, who caused a stir when a video emerged of his supposed second marriage, said it was just a marketing campaign to promote health products, Kosmo! reported.

He cleared the air on his Instagram page, saying that the marriage solemnisation ceremony with a woman named Shu was just a promotional video for the health products that they both managed.

“It’s just an advertisement that we made. Our products, mine and Shu’s; we ‘married’ them.

“We are partners in business, that is all. I have only one wife, not two,” he said, joking that he had a “tiger” at home.

The 45-year-old Tauke, whose real name is Zamatul Amri Zakaria, said that people should evaluate news items carefully.
