Water cut, low water pressure in USJ areas

PETALING JAYA: Residents in the USJ 1 to USJ 27 area in the Petaling district are experiencing water supply disruptions and low water pressure on Saturday (Nov 20).

Air Selangor said the water disruption in these areas was due to an ‘air lock’ technical problem on the main distribution pipe that carries water to the Sime UEP Water Pool in Kg Kenangan in Puchong.

“Air Selangor is working to overcome this 'air lock' problem and will channel the water supply in stages after the level of the distribution pool is stabilised.

“Water supply is expected to be fully restored in all areas by midnight on Nov 21.

“Restoration varies from one area to another depending on the location and distance of the consumer's premises,” it said in a statement on Saturday (Nov 20).
