PUTRAJAYA: The Court of Appeal upheld a six-year jail sentence imposed on the former babysitter of Adam Rayqal Mohd Sufi Naeif, a five-month-old baby whose body was found in a freezer three years ago.
A three-member bench comprising Datuk Hanipah Farikullah, Datuk Abu Bakar Jais and Datuk Seri Mariana Yahya made the decision after Deputy Public Prosecutor Fauziah Daud decided to withdraw the prosecution’s appeal against the jail sentence handed down by the Shah Alam High Court on Noor Aqilah Abd Rahman, 36.
