Covid-19: 36 new deaths as of Sunday (Oct 31)

PUTRAJAYA: A total of 36 new Covid-19 fatalities were recorded on Sunday (Oct 31), bringing the cumulative death toll to 28,912.

Of the number, seven deaths were classified as “brought-in-dead”.

The number of active cases currently stands at 67,969 cases, with 77.6% or 52,720 being patients with mild infections who are undergoing home quarantine.

Another 8,735 or 12.9% patients are those under isolation at low-risk quarantine centres (PKRC) while the number of those being hospitalised are 5,952 or 8.8%.

There are currently 236 patients in intensive care units (ICU) who do not require ventilator support, while another 326 are on ventilators.
