CELEBRITY couple Adam Lee and Sweet Qismina held their engagement ceremony at a residence in Ampang recently, reported Harian Metro.

“Our fans have been waiting for a long time for us to be legally bonded. So this is a prelude before we move on to the next phase (marriage),” Sweet said.

Sweet, who celebrated her 24th birthday on Oct 24, said they have not set a wedding date.

“We will settle for an engagement first. The creative industry has just reopened, so this is the time for us to work again,” she said.

The engagement ceremony was attended by 20 guests from both families.

The love story of Sweet, whose given name is Farhanna Qismina Supandi and Adam, 26, whose full name is Muhammad Arif Adam Mohamed Fadlee, ignited when both of them met while filming the drama Adam Chempaka.

> Hasmah Hassan, the wife of the late film director Mamat Khalid, revealed that her late husband looked happy on the night of his passing, Berita Harian reported.

Hasmah shared that Mamat told her that there were two old friends in white robes who wanted to meet him that night.

Hasmah said family members wondered who the two friends were as there were no guests at the house.

“He did not do anything unusual before he passed away. Maybe he did not want me to be upset,” she said.

Hasmah added that she is still shocked by the passing of her husband on Oct 24, at the age of 58.

“I really miss him. He was healthy and looked happy on the night he died,” she shared.
