PETALING JAYA: "Happy Birthday, Daddy/Bossku" this is what Nooryana Najwa Najib wished her father, former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak whose 73rd birthday falls on July 23.
She said that with patience, comes strength.
"Some seasons test us in ways we never imagined but through it all, you've shown me true resilience.
"Even as you prepare for your heart procedure, you remain positive, your heart generous and your faith unwavering.
"I will always be your biggest cheerleader. We keep willing each other on, never giving up hope and never letting go of the dream that one day we'll be reunited again with so much love, laughter and precious moments to make up for," she said in an Instagram post on Thursday (July 23).
She also said she would pray for his good health, protection.
"Happy birthday, Daddy. We love you always," she said, reported Astro Awani.
On his Facebook page, Najib thanked his supporters for the birthday wishes.
"Thank you for the prayers and birthday wishes. I am very touched that some still remember.
"May we always be under God's protection, all good prayers are answered, sustenance is abundant and good health is bestowed upon us."
On July 18, his wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor said that Najib is scheduled to undergo a medical procedure to remove plaque from a blood vessel.
