SINGER and actress Nabila Razali is prioritising her role as a mother, announcing a temporary break from acting to focus on raising her son while continuing to pursue her music career, Harian Metro reported.
Nabila, whose full name is Nur Nabila Mohd Razali, 34, admitted that balancing her career and personal life was not easy.
“It is definitely challenging, but I am fortunate to have a very good management team that helps organise my schedule.
“Even though I’m busy, I still make time for my family and even squeeze in the occasional holiday.
“But with so many responsibilities, there are times when I have to let one or two things go, or decide not to take on certain commitments so I can spend more time with my son,” she said.
Nabila believes every sacrifice and the hard work she is putting in now are for her son’s future.
She said her main priority at the moment is promoting her new single, Cukup Sampai Sini.
“I also want to focus on my music first for now. At the same time, I am also involved in several other campaigns,” she said.
However, the singer of Pematah Hati stressed that the decision does not mean she is retiring from acting altogether.
“I am just taking a short break from acting, not leaving it for good. Perhaps I will return to acting next year, depending on the circumstances,” she said.
