KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia is on track to becoming a major player in the global drone industry with the development of Area 57 Research and Development (Area 57), said local drone industry players.
Area 57 is a two-hectare area that will be turned into an integrated infrastructure and sandbox with the provision of seven proposed values namely to carry out research, development, testing, certification, commercialisation and maintenance of drone solutions and technology.
