Defence Ministry to lend a hand


KUALA LUMPUR: The Defence Ministry will provide assistance and work together with the Education Ministry to ensure the reopening of schools in stages from Oct 3 will proceed smoothly, says Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein.

He said the cooperation involved the preparation of classrooms in addition to ensuring a smooth vaccination process for students, providing Covid-19 test kits and empowering tuition centres at schools in Armed Forces camps.
