Environment and Water Ministry looking into upgrading water treatment plants at border areas

KOTA BARU (Bernama): The Environment and Water Ministry is looking into upgrading the capacity of existing water treatment plants (WTPs) in the border areas to increase water supply to neighbouring states.

Its Minister Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said this would save cost, hence reducing government expenditure, compared to building a WTP.
