KOTA KINABALU: Floods hit the districts of Beaufort and Sipitang since early Thursday (Sept 2) following a downpour from the day before but no evacuations have been conducted as of 3pm.

While rising water levels have caused some roads in Beaufort and sub-district Membakut to be inaccessible, no families had yet been placed at the Dewan DSP Mohd Dun Banir relief centre which had been activated, said Beaufort district officer Abdul Imam Basirun.
