GEORGE TOWN: Senior citizens in Penang who have yet to get their Covid-19 shots can walk into selected centres for immediate vaccination and expect a smooth experience because there are fewer than 10% of them in the state who are yet to be vaccinated.

Northeast district Health officer Datin Dr Azizah Abdul Manan said more than 90% of those aged 60 and above were already vaccinated and in some districts, every senior citizen who registered had turned up for their jabs.
