Covid-19: Kuala Sungai Baru police station closed until July 26 after personnel test positive

ALOR GAJAH: The Kuala Sungai Baru police station here will be closed until July 26 as several employees tested positive for Covid-19, says Alor Gajah OCPD Supt Arshad Abu.

"All men from the station will be immediately placed under quarantine. The station would be only reopened upon the recommendation from the health authorities," he said on Saturday (July 17).

He said that the decision to halt operations at the station was made following the advice of health officials.

The Kuala Sungai Baru police station is located close to the Negri Sembilan and Melaka border here.

Supt Arshad said locals who wish to apply for interstate and inter-district travel are advised to obtain it from the Lubuk China and Masjid Tanah police stations.

He added that crime prevention patrols at areas under the Kuala Sungai Baru police's jurisdiction will be continued as normal with reinforcement from nearby police stations.
