Covid-19: DMZ at Tuanku Mizan Armed Forces Hospital to take in Category 3 patients from Tuesday (July 13)


PETALING JAYA: The disaster management zone (DMZ) located in the underground parking lot of the Tuanku Mizan Armed Forces Hospital will begin taking in Category 3 Covid-19 patients starting Tuesday (July 13).

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said that the DMZ is capable of accommodating 100 Category 3 patients as well as 50 Category 4 patients, and should they need respiratory assistance, they can be transferred to the Tuanku Mizan Armed Forces Hospital intensive care unit (ICU) ward.
