Temporary low supply of PPE, face masks at Penang Hospital

GEORGE TOWN: While battling to save lives, frontliners at Penang Hospital are facing a low supply of personal protective equipment (PPE) and face masks.

However, Penang Hospital infectious disease consultant Dr Chow Ting Soo said the situation was not as bad as during the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic last year.“It is not as dire as last year, and the stock is on the way, ” she said when contacted.
