THERE was no celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri for TV personality Ira Mohd Amin as her husband and two children tested positive for Covid-19, reported Berita Harian.
“I did not get to hold my husband’s hands and apologise to him in the morning, nor to the children, ” said Ira.
Ira’s husband, Shazril Ezani, and her two children tested positive on the first day of Syawal. Fortunately, Ira – whose real name is Zarith Adzmira Mohd Amin, and her eldest son tested negative.
“Now we are undergoing self-quarantine separately at home, ” she said, adding that her husband and the two children are asymptomatic.
Ira said she is grateful for friends and family members who are taking care of them.
“They sent me food, including all kinds of energy drinks.
“I am indeed sad to celebrate with limited resources, but this is a test from God. Hopefully this sadness will pass, ” she said.
