Tighter controls for those travelling from Singapore


PUTRAJAYA: Travellers from Singapore will have to undergo a mandatory 14-day quarantine instead of the usual 10 days from Thursday.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said this was decided at a National Security Council meeting on May 7 due to the discovery of Covid-19 variants of concern (VOC) in the republic.
